Hi, I'm Danette.
I picked up my first camera at 8 years old and never really put it down-but somewhere along the way, photography became less about pictures and more about preserving the life we're living.
The dusty boots.
The long days.
The quiet moments in between.
Most of what I photograph isn't staged-it's real. Families raising kids in this life, horses that mean more than words, and the kind of moments you don't realize matter until they're gone.
I'm drawn to natural light, honest connection, and the stories that unfold without forcing them.
If your life is a little wild, a little western, and a whole lot meaningful...you're exactly where you're supposed to be.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me chasing my own kids, spending time around horses, and soaking up the same moments I love capturing for others.
